Rules:
Each
club’s job is to have their members brew to the styles that have been set.
Each
club is
allowed
to submit a maximum of 2 entries per style. Overall scoring for the
categories is based
on
a point system. Each 1st place beer
receives 2 points. Each 2nd
place beer receives 1 point.
The
same scoring scheme is used in the Best of Show (BOS) round where the top four
beers go
head
to head. Here's the twist,
the winner of the BDB category does not progress to the BOS
round,
but is used to decide who wins in case of a points tie.
The winning club is awarded a
traveling
trophy and bragging rights for the next year
