We had a fair turnout at Nebraska Brewing Company considering several of us were at the Empyrean Beer Quest the day before.  Half of the attendees were either there for their first time or fairly new.  It is always a good thing to see new faces at our events!  In total, there were twelve beers ranging from wheats to stouts.  In the end; The competition for August was completely open  We had an amazing turnout at Goldeez for this event including a few new faces.  In the end; the newest member of the club, Joel, took home $45 in gift certificates from Cornhusker Beverage for winning the competition.  David took home a growler of Nebraska Brewing Company beer for winning second place.  Thanks again to Nebraska Brewing Company and Cornhusker Beverage for a great event!

Unfortunately; I don't have the complete results as the allergy medicine induced fog in my head made me forget my laptop.  We had to tally the scores manually so we were actually thankful there weren't 20+ beers to judge!!  :-)
