September 2013 Club Competition

For the second year in a row, we are holding our September meeting at Blatt Beer & Table in conjunction with the Union Pacific Ties social club. This was a very fun event last year, so there's no doubt it will be this year as well! The social gathering of the two clubs will start around 5pm with beer tasting/judging commencing between 6pm and 8pm.

The styles for the RRBC members' style competition for this meeting are Belgian and French & Sours. There is also a Best Damn Beer (any style) competition that anyone and everyone is welcome to enter. As usual, the members' style competition awards prizes whereas the Best Damn Beer competition is merely for bragging rights. As there will be MANY people at this event, please bring at least a 64oz of each entry. There will be food, so be sure to come hungry as well!

Note: If you plan to attend this event, please sign up here. The UP Ties Social Group needs to have an idea of how much food they need to order AND we need to adhere to NLCC rules and regulations by having a guest list of people that will partake in our beer.
