Join us on March 8th @ 6pm at Brix for the Lager Tasting which is being done in preparation for the Club Competition in April. As the Irish Beer Competition is on March 26th, there's no doubt we'll be consuming some Irish style beers as well.
Thanks again to Goldeez Food Fun & Spirits for hosting this event! For those that have not been there yet, make it a point to go... especially on Thursday for the $5 any burger special! A huge thanks also goes out to Terry, Dusty, Chad, Tom, Lee, Chris, Kyle, Tyler, and Don for bringing awesome beers all of us to drink and judge! The top three for the night were:
1. Oak Aged Imperial Stout -- Chris & Kyle 2. Vegas by Morning IIPA -- Terry Duke 3. Honey Badger (don't give a sh!t) Steam Lager -- Lee Smith
Goldeez donated a shirt which was awarded to Terry. Chris & Kyle were awarded one of Tom's uber top secret ingredient kits! We all look forward to drinking that soon! Head over to the event page for the full results.
Bill broke out his video camera during EBF and interviewed some brewers, reps, volunteers, and attendees. RRBC is featured in it of course! Be sure to check it out when you have 25 minutes to spare. I have to say that I especially like the intermission elevator music!

For March, we're brewing with the luck of the Irish. Whether it be a dry stout, red, lager, or any other Irish style, be sure to empty your pot 'o gold before brewing in it! Thanks to Nebraska Brewing Company for hosting the event!
As usual, the public is welcome to join in and bring their Irish home-brews or just partake in the tasting and judge. However; only club members are eligible to win prizes.
This is the event where the homebrew clubs from all over Nebraska meet up to compete for the coveted Cup.
Four BJCP categories have been chosen, as well as one open category
“Best Damn Beer”. Each club is allowed to submit a maximum of 2 entries
per category. Overall scoring for the categories is based on a point
system.
1st place beers receives 3 points, 2nd place beers receives 2 points, and each 3rd place beers receives 1 point.
While the Best Damn Beer category does not progress to the Best Of
