May 2009 Event: Educational Outdoor Patio Brew Day!

We all had a great time with three brewing stations...  The Lincoln Lagers Club, also arrived around 4 that evening. Paul, had some brewing tours of the Nebraska Brewing Company later in the afternoon.  They had the brew kit raffle, sorry guys no Railroader's drawn.  The real hands on started at 11:00 a.m. and our members were there to see the real thing.  Paul, Tyson & Chad had some great ideas and knowledge of brewing they shared with us.  We also had a demonstration of software brewing tools that calculate how-to-brew and catalogs recipes, take a look at BrewSmith. 

For future events were going into judge styles of beer, perhaps pick a style to brew and have each member bring in a sample.  Paul of the Nebraska Brewing Company, is an official beer judge, he's offered to judge for us.

Steve & Cindy, brought in many styles of beer that they have been brewing!  He wins the many creations of the month award!  Excellent brew Steve!  It was a great time for all, see you next event!
